At Gobind Sarvar School, students are expected to act with kindness, respect, and responsibility at all times.
Be kind to all students, staff, and visitors.
No bullying, fighting, or inappropriate behavior in-person or online.
No use of foul language
Follow directions from all staff and supervisors.
Take care of school property; report damages immediately.
Arrive on time every day.
Late students must get a late slip; repeated lateness will lead to parent contact.
Parents must call by 8:00 a.m. to report absences.
Students may only leave school if signed out by a parent/guardian.
Wear the school uniform, including head covering.
Casual dress must be modest and reflect Sikh values.
School laptops are for schoolwork only; damage or misuse leads to consequences.
Walk on the right side in hallways; move quietly and safely.
Report any unsafe situations immediately.
No gum chewing anywhere on school property or buses.
Stay seated and talk quietly.
Follow the driver’s instructions and bus schedule.
Unsafe behavior may result in bus suspension.
Only vegetarian meals and snacks are allowed.
Dairy is okay; no meat, seafood, or eggs (some classes or floors might need to be nut-free) Tree nuts include: almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, walnuts.
Follow Fair Play and Student-Athlete Contract rules.
Parents must pick up students on time after activities.
Minor issues: teacher warnings or mindfulness strategies.
Serious or repeated issues: office referral, detention, suspension, or expulsion.
Discipline follows the Strike System and Education Act.
If a student violates the Code of Conduct, the school will arrange a serious discussion with the student and parents. Depending on the situation, consequences may include detention, suspension, or expulsion.
Any updates to school rules will be shared with students and parents through email. Violations of these rules, along with any classroom rules set by the teacher, may result in disciplinary action.
Maintaining a safe, orderly, and caring school environment is a shared responsibility. We appreciate the cooperation of parents in helping us create a respectful and welcoming atmosphere at Gobind Sarvar School.
