Westwinds Late Pick-Up Policy

Beginning this school year, a late pick-up fee will be implemented for students who are not picked up during the designated dismissal window. This decision was made after careful consideration and is intended to ensure a respectful balance between school operations and staff well-being.

Our teachers and staff are dedicated professionals who give their best each day to support your child’s learning and growth. Like all working individuals, they also have personal responsibilities and commitments outside of school hours. When students are not picked up on time, staff are required to stay beyond their scheduled hours, which impacts their personal and family time. Additionally, waiting for extended periods after a full day at school can be tiring and stressful for children.

To support a more efficient and respectful end-of-day process, the following fees will apply:

Late pick-up charges will be invoiced monthly and deducted from the pre-authorized debit account on file.

Early Pick-Up (Note: The Front Doors will be locked from 2:00 - 3:05 pm, all pick ups must be from the back side of the school)
